Islam has given their follower a choice in
marriage arranged marriages are allowed in Islam but are not required. Whereas
"forced" marriages are forbidden. A man must give his full attention and loyalty
in marriage to his wife and children in order to raise a happy and wholesome
family however divorce is permissible but reconciliation is most encouraged. But
if not possible than permits just a divorce. More than one marriage is also
allowed but only if one need. The Quran says that
“You should be content with only one wife
or what you already have this way you are more likely to avoid inequity”. (Quran
4:129).
