All adult Muslims are required to offer prayer compulsorily five times each day name of them are FAJAR, ZOHAR, ASAR, MAGHRIB and ESHA. Men are restricted to pray in a Mosque with all the Muslims of the area. The mosque is the Arabic word MASJID which means place of worship. The purpose of the mosque is to serve as a place where Muslims can come together for prayer. The Imam leads the prayer of every time. According to Islamic beliefs, the first mosque in the world was the Kaaba, whose existing foundation was raised up by Prophet Ibrahim, with his son Prophet Ismail, upon an order from Allah. The oldest mosque built by Muslims is the QUBA Mosque in Medina. When Muhammad lived in Makkah, he viewed Kaaba as his first and principal mosque and performed prayers there together with his followers. Masjid-e-Nabawi is also a mosque of Muslims where Hazrat Muhammad is buried in Madina. A common and main feature in mosques is the minar, the tall, slender tower. One can identify the mosque from very far due to this minars.
