Mohammed the last prophet

It has been stated several times in Quran that the Hazrat Muhammad (P-B-U-H) is the messenger and the last Prophet by Allah and no more prophet will come on the last Sermon on mount of Arafat during hajj, He says that:

‘O people, no prophet or messenger will come after me, and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand my words that I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnat, and if you follow these you will never go astray’.

Hazrat Muhammad (P-B-U-H) was named as REHMAT-TUL-LILIALAMIN, because he was the only prophet who completed the religion Islam. The Holy prophet came to the world and told in very clear and unambiguous term that the entire universe is a creation of the Allah almighty, and that the right path on which life should proceed is a path laid down by the Allah in   His holy book. The last prophet Muhammad (P-B-U-H) and the last book of Allah is the Holy Quran. The principles laid in Quran are basic, fundamental and final as regards the explanations given by it to the various problems of human mind as well as from the point of view of the guide lines  laid down by it on which human beings can pass an over all successful life in this world as well as the world to the come. The sayings and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (P-B-U-H) present to us the best and the final symbolic interpretation of Quranic life in particular and the most successful and the only righteous and the excellent mode of human life in general.
