The family of Quraish
was a famous branch of Ismailite Arabs. It was in this honorable tribe that a
child was born on the 12th Rabi-ul-Awal in Macca. The grand father called him
Muhammad and the mother named him Ahmad. The name of his grand father
was Abdul Mutalib, Father’s name Abdullah and mother’s Amina. The child was
looked after by Halima. Owing to the bad economic condition of his uncle, he
used to tend flocks of sheep and herds of camels. He was a great reformer. He
was respected and loved by his people due to his steadfastness, truth,
simplicity, trust worthiness, sincerity, patience, courage, sand sense of duty.
He believes in generosity and forgiveness. He was polite, meek and kind to every
one.
To liberate man, to
educate man, in a word to humanize man was the sole mission of Prophet
Mohammad (PBUH) life. From a poor orphan he rose to the position of a
mighty kind but he never led the life of kind. The holy Quran was first reveal
to him at a age of forty. On receiving the prophet hood he began to preach Islam
and face plenty of hardships, agonies, and problems. He was the first to invite
various tribes of Arabia into one nations and became the founder of common
wealth if Islam. He made the idol worshippers a religious and God fearing
nation.
