The process in a society by which all the individuals of that society are trained mentally, physically and emotionally is called education. Education gives an arrangement of common thinking and common actions among all members of a society along with it helps in passing a successful life. There are two fundamental types of education: Formal Education and Informal Education.
Importance of education is evident from the education policies are introduced by the Government in different periods. Steps were taken for the progress of education in all these policies and efforts were made to improve the educational system in Pakistan. The names of educational polices introduced by the Government in different periods are following. 1. Educational Conference 1947 2. Report of the Commission on National Education 1959 3. Education Policy 1972 to 1980 4. Education Policy 1978 5. National Education Policy 1998 to 2010 The objective of every education policy introduced in Pakistan was to promote the standard of education in Pakistan and to make Steps to increase the literacy rate in the country and more people motivate towards the education. Education will be accessible to the entire citizen because it is the right of the individual's citizen in Pakistan. |
