Pakistan comprises of four Provinces Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Sarhad. Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan and it covers 347190 km˛ areas and its population is 9,893,727 estimated in 2003, It is located in the southwest of Pakistan, to its southwest Afghanistan and to its southeast Iran is situated. Main languages are is Balochi, , Persian & Urdu. The economy of the Balochistan is largely depends upon the production of natural gas, coal and minerals. It has a big reserve of natural gas at a place of Sui, which is fulfilling the requirement of gas all over the country and can still use for several more years. Balochistan is divided into 28 districts: Chagai, Dera, Bugti, Gwadar, Jafarabad, Jhal, Magsi, Kalat, Kech, Khuzdar, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Lasbela, Loralai, Mastung, Musakhel, Nasirabad, Nushki, Panjgur, Pishin, Quetta, Sherani, Sibi, Zhob, Ziarat, Awaran, Barkhan, Bolan. QUETTA: Quetta is the Capital of Balochistan. It is located at 1676–1900 meters above sea level in south-western Pakistan, and also known as the fruit basket of Pakistan because of its great fertility of soil and it grows many fruits. The minimum temperature of Quetta is known to be as low as -18˚C, while a maximum winter temperature sometime crosses 25˚C until now.In the 1998 it was Quetta was the known to be ninth largest city of Pakistan with a population of 565,137. The city is the main marketing and communications point between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
