A frontier is a political and geographical term use for the areas near or beyond a boundary in case of Pakistan frontier is use for the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) is the smallest province of Pakistan. To its northwest Afghanistan is located, to its northeast Northern Areas is located, Azad Kashmir to the east, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to the west and south, and Punjab and Islamabad southeast. The population of NWFP is 19,343,000 according to 2003 census out of which 52% are males and 48% females and the area is spread over 74,521 kmē.Main languages are Pashto, Hindko, Khowar, Persian, Urdu.
