Abrarul Haq the
Billo Boy was born on July 21 in Faisalabad city of Pakistan. He got his
initial education from Gujrat and Rawalpindi. He took his Bachelor's
degree from Sir Syed College (Rawalpindi) and Master's degree in social
sciences from Quaid-i-Azam University (Islamabad). He was Teacher by
profession, joined Aitchison College in 1996. He quit teaching to pursue
his career in pop music.
Abrar's first
album "Billo De Ghar" was a super hit of its time. He sings in Punjabi
language mostly,the language of most populated province of Pakistan and
Abrar's native language. He sings in Urdu too. His popular single "Sanu
Tere Nal" is in English and Punjabi. He is the founder of SAHARA for
Life Trust , a charitable organization promoting health and education in
many areas of Pakistan.
According to the
definition of Abrar SAHARA stands for: "SERVICES AIMED AT HEALTH AND
AWAKENING IN REMOTE AREAS". |
