Hadiqa Kiani was
born on August 12, 1974 at Rawalpindi in Pakistan. She is known to be
the best female pop singer of the country. She took her early education
fro Naya Aligar Public School. She then went on to Kinnaird and Govt.
College and than masters in Psychology.
Beside being
singer she is also a song writer, and an occasional TV host as well.
Hadiqa first appeared on PTV in a child show called "Angan Angan Taray".
She also appeared as a VJ for various musical shows. Hadiqa appeared as
a playback singer for a musical movie called "Sargam" in 1994 and took
play back singer award in the same year. Until now she has released her
4 complete albums and all of them reach the success of sky due to its
unique songs and style of singing. The name of the albums are as follow.

She won various
awards as play back singer for famous musical movie "SARGAM" (Music
Composer ADNAN SAMI KHAN) in 1994. Won "NTM Viewer's choice award" for
the best female Singer of Pakistan in 1995. Won PTV World viewer's
choice award for the best female singer on 2000. and finally received "Tamgha-e-Imtiaz"
on March 23, 2006 by the Government of Pakistan, one of the highest
civil awards of the country, for acknowledging her services for the
music and her journey of success is still in progress. |
