Javed AkhtarJaved Akhtar was born on 17th January 1945, at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in India. His real name is Jadoo. He is a son of Jan Nisar Akhtar, a Bollywood film songwriter and Urdu poet, and Safia Akhtar, a teacher and a writer. He received his early education from Colvin Taluqdars' College From Lucknow he went to Aligarh and took admission in a school of Aligarh, the Minto Circle. The school is part of famous Aligarh Muslim University. He passed his secondary education from Aligarh Muslim University. After completing his matriculation, he went to Saifiya College in Bhopal where he earned a B.A.. He was considered to be the best debater in college of his times and won the Rotary Club Prize several times. During his studied he was a Urdu and Hindi poet, lyricist and scriptwriter. Javed Akhtar won 5 National Film Award for Best Lyrics and 7 Filmfare Best Lyricist Awards for his Hindi lyrics. He was also awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1999 and received the Padma Bhushan in 2007. He wrote many songs which touch the sky of success.
