Salim Malik / Saleem Malik was born on 16th April, 1963 is a former Pakistani cricketer who played from 1981 till 1999 for Pakistan and also become the captain of the Pakistani cricket team. He captained Pakistan in 12 Tests, winning 7 and 34 ODIs won 21 out of them. He was the first ever cricketer to be banned for match fixing.
