Waqar Younis Maitla also popular as "Burawala Express". was born on 16th November, 1969 is a Pakistani former cricket player. He also captained the team on various tours and tournaments. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of Pakistan, and popular for reverse swing the ball. He received his early education from Sadiq Public School in Bahawalpur, Pakistan than attend Pakistani College in Sharjah, and after that Government College, Vehari. On November 15, 1989 he made his debut for Pakistan against India. He records his profession life unbeaten. From March 2006 to January 2007 he was appointed as the bowling coach for Pakistan. resigned on January 6, 2007 due to PCB's decision to retain him only for the Test series against South Africa and not for five ODIs. Waqar Younis has become a television cricket commentator for Australia's Nine Network. He currently lives in Australia and is a coach at a local cricket club. Waqar Younis has played 87 Test matches and scored 1010 runs at a rate 10.20 his top score is 45 runs, bowled 16224 balls and taken 373 wickets his best ever bowling is 7 for 73. He has played 262 ODI matches in which he scored 969 runs and top score is 37. until now bowled 12698 balls and taken 416 wickets his best ever bowling is 7 for 38.
