Naat is the Persian
word that means poetry. Naat is actually a praising poetry that is
recites for praising the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). In Urdu
language there are lots of Naat writers. Muslims recite Naat in the
Honor and to praise their Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). It was started by
the Hassan Ibn Thabit, who was the poet and he started writing praising
